Mo'Nique is Making Her TV Rounds Amid Tax Crisis. Stops By "The View" to Set the Record Straight About Netflix Deal. [WATCH]

Mo'Nique has been in the news quite a lot lately and it hasn't always been good. Last month she called for a Netflix ban after being denied fair pay for a contracted stand-up comedy deal. AJC.com is reporting the Oscar winner owes the U.S. government $560K in unpaid taxes. “In 2016, she had a tax lien filed against her for the years ending 2013 and 2014 for a total of $389,904.98. Last fall, the federal government said she was late paying her taxes in 2015 as well to the tune of $170,720.74. So the Oscar-winning actress now owes the U.S. government $560,625.72.”

The comedian stopped by "The View" yesterday to clear the air and state her case. She stated some very real facts and called out the "pay gap" and gender disparity in the entertainment industry. The segment was going in Mo'Nique's favor until co-host and fellow comedian Whoopi Goldberg cut Mo' off to call BS when she brought up the old "Precious" argument again!

Whoopi: "I'm going to stop you because contractually, when you make a movie, regardless of who you sign the deal with, your job is to go and promote said movie," Whoopi interjected, "And we've had this conversation and I said if you had called me I could've schooled you on what was expected."

Mo'Nique: "If I had done something wrong contractually, they would've sued me. The reason why no one could do anything to me contractually, because they found out I did nothing wrong contractually. So, when they asked me to come overseas to promote the film — when I said, 'Guys, I'm spending time with my family, I'm going to pass.' When I make the statement, -- 'This is what happens when you don't go to the room.' -- What Tyler Perry showed me, Lee Daniels, Oprah Winfrey and Lionsgate, when you don't do what we ask you to do, we'll take your livelihood. So for eight years, my family has suffered, and my career has suffered because what I would not allow those entities to do was bully me."

Get into the interview below.

Ok now girl, it's time to drop it. Go back in the lab and come out greater just like every other legend who has been denied in the past.  I know this stings but sometimes you have to take the darts from the enemy to use as fuel for your comeback.
