An Xscape Biopic is Heading to a Television Near Your!

The best way to have your story told is to always tell it yourself! After the popularity of the New Edition biopic nearly every other defunct group wanted in on the movie cash cow. Enter Xscape and their dream of having their story told as well. The ladies had been casually tossing around the idea of bringing their story to the small screen to let their fans know the REAL story of the groups rise to fame, separation and subsequent reunion!

According to TMZ "Production sources tell us ... the biopic will air on Bravo, which is already home to the docuseries, "Xscape Still Kickin' It." We're told mega-producer Mona Scott-Young of 'Love & Hip Hop' fame is producing the movie. As we reported ... all 4 members -- Kandi Burruss, Tiny Harris, LaTocha and Tamika Scott -- reunited this past summer for their first performance in 20 years, and they've been rolling ever since."

I was a fan of Xscape back in the day and I can't wait to see them get to tell their story, in their own words, and find out exactly what happened to one of the best R&B groups of their time. Their current reality docuseries airs on Bravo and the biopic is expected to air on the same network in 2018.
