If you're anything like me, and you probably are or you wouldn't be here, you grew up on Sesame Street. I promise you, Sesame Street has been there throughout my childhood teaching me important things like how to tie my shoes (thanks Grover), which one of those kids was doing their own thing, how to keep the grocery list straight in my head by repeating the items over and over. They also taught me the extra cool way to count to 12. You just sang the song didn't you? I know you thought about it at least!
In recent years Sesame Street has taken on more adult themes to engage the grown-ups who oftentimes get saddled with watching the programming with their children. In 2015 they released a "Game of Thrones" parody entitled "Game of Chairs" which was a perfect mix of the original series and child-friendly musical chairs references. Recently they've taken their parody production to a new level! They've taken on Netflix's original series "Orange is the New Black" and given it their own special spin! This is the cutest way that I've ever seen a children's television show try to encourage children to make healthier choices! Not only did they have all of the characters spot on, I didn't even need them to say their names to know who they were. If you're an #OITNB fan, please check out the video below!
And just because I couldn't get the song out of my head after I said it, here's the 12 song!
